Are you superstitious? I have heard so many different things from different people about how they are superstitious. I think the greatest one is my roommate who has to have everything even. She even thinks that now that it is the year 2016, she will have a better year.
A lot of my superstitions can be confused with my OCDs. Like having everything even is my OCD not my superstition. But I don't like full moons, which is my superstition.
I also don't like black cats, but I also heard that owning a black cat is good luck. Have you heard that?
I could go on and on with mine.
Are you superstitious and if so, what are they, if you care to share?

I am not superstitious at all. The Bible speaks against "anyone who looks for omens." Deuteronomy 18:11, 12 2 Kings 21:6

There are so many superstitious I have came across..
To name a few I've heard:
If you walk into your home door and there is a window or door directly in front - it symbolizes money will walk in, and out
When it is Chinese New Years, you cannot spend money. IF you spend money, it means you will not have money in the new year..
Turtles are a symbol of bad luck

I'm not superstitious because the Bible teaches again things like that. But I remember a silly one from years ago that says if you drop a fork, a woman is coming for a visit. If you drop a knife, a man is coming. And if you drop a spoon, a fool is coming. But who isn't one at some point in their lives?

I always throw salt over my shoulder if I spill it. Not sure why, I don't really believe in it, it's more of a habit than a superstition.

No, I am not superstitious. There are so many superstitious people around me that it really troubles me.. a friend of mine wont step out without her silly pink umbrella come rain or shine.. the umbrella is so faded and jaded and its time it went to the dumps.
Really, I haven't hear that owning a black cat was ;lucky.. it thought it would be the other way LOL.

I have heard of these superstitions. I've always been curious as to when and how they started.
One that makes me wonder if there is some truth to it is if you get your hair cut on a full moon it will grow quicker. I just got my hair cut early this week but the time before it was on a full moon and this cut came quicker because my hair grew quicker, or so it seemed.
Black cats rule. Love them, have owned one before. I don't believe for a minute that they bring anything but love. Have a blessed day

I have no heard of the one about cutting your hair on a full moon. That's an interesting one thought. Thanks for sharing.
I once watched a show, long long ago, about how some got started. I really wish I remembered what it said now.
I have considered owning a black cat because of this
