Do you start discussions off the cuff, friends?
I do.Three or four years ago I had joined Mylot. At that time I used to write my discussions at night and start them the next day.Gradually Mylot improved my English and now I can start discussions without pre-preparation.What about you?My question is for all those who are not native English speakers.

My native is not English but yes I can start the discussions off the cuff. Over the period of time my English has improved. I read novels, try to write stories as well, try to check the meaning of any new word I encounter. In this manner I have improved my English which enables me to start the discussion without preparation.

@WriterMukund,Yes,I have seen your posts. You really write so well.Like you I too read one English newspaper and often books in English. My mother tongue is Hindi.
But perhaps I was wrong.Perhaps I wanted to ask you whether you can express yourself properly in English while initiating a discussion.Generally we tend to think in our mother tongues and then translate it in a language we have learned.

@ram9523 Thanks a lot. I am glad that you like my posts. Yes, it happens to me as well. Sometimes I use few words unnecessarily such as "then" and "also" since the corresponding words we use in our mother tongue. Over the period of time, I am avoiding those words. It comes by practice. So there is no harm in trying and keep on learning.

@WriterMukund I commit mistake while using words like 'also' and 'too.'These words are often used interchangeably. Also,I have problems in using 'I changed' and 'I have changed.'There's a lot more I have to learn.
