I see offers added now here from mylot admin but what I am missing, is if we can still ask people to do tasks for us and pay for it. Is there still a possibility that we can do that here?

I'm not sure what kind of tasks you are referring to. My understanding....check the terms of use, is that this is a writing site, payment requires interaction (reading, commenting and liking). Good luck,

No, Tasks aren't a feature of the new myLot.
