Need help with responding

I seem to need some help. I can make a new discussion but when I click on someone else's post it won't let me respond. Does anyone know why or has this happened to anyone else?

Oh thats weird! It happens usually when someone blocks you. Then you cant respond to that particular persons discussion. But in your case I dont know what happened as you are a new user here, there is no possible chances that you are blocked by anyone. So do you experience it with all the discussions or only a few?
