Blew a Circuit Again

This is really getting old fast. This whole house needs to be rewired. I can't plug anything more in anywhere without blowing a circuit, which I did one minute after my older son left. My younger son was asleep, he works at 9 tonight, so there was no way I was going to wake him to go down the basement and turn the power back on to the front half of the house. So I waited. I took a shower, fixed myself something to eat, and got the next Harry Potter book to read, which I hadn't started yet. I could have done the rest of the dishes, but I didn't want to make noise in the kitchen and wake my son, so I quietly read until he woke, two hours earlier than I expected and asked him to please take care of the circuit. So here I am, totally frustrated about the power and everything else going wrong today. I'm going to try again to get some interaction going. I hope your day/night has been much better. Thanks for reading.

My day has been going fine except for trying to keep awake for a couple of more hours so I will sleep good tonight

I'm lucky, if that happens I only have to step into the garage and fix it. I hope your day improves.

It has to. Everything that could go wrong today already did so. It can only improve from here on out. The blown circuit was the icing on the cake.

Dont worry most of the circuit wiring are in parallel connection

I know nothing about that. I just make certain I don't have too many plugs on one circuit. I haven't blown one in two months now, so I'm getting the hang of it.

We had to get our house rewired a couple of years afo. my house is sixty years old and it needed to be updated for having laptops and a desktop. So it should be good for go now.

@just4him Plus it is very expensive to rewire.

@jstory07 With the house in foreclosure it wouldn't be worth it, unless I'm able to save the house.

I don't know how soon I would be able to get it rewired.

Me too. Right now I'm trying to figure out how it will all work when I get my new computer. I know it did before so it has to again.

@just4him sounds like maybe you need an electrician, which really stinks, sorry!

@Jessicalynnt I know. I wonder at the feasibility to keep the house or let it go to foreclosure. There is so much that needs to be done here.
