Do we have any alternate resource for the internet?

As the world is moving fast, it depends more on the internet each day. All kinds of activities -- medical, engineering, banking, military, marketing, and education -- need internet. E-commerce is expanding locally and globally as the online shopping is rapidly increasing.
We have found some alternate resources for electricity. If the internet collapses suddenly how this world will manage to move on?

For sure all those techie people will find a back up. We already survived without it before so I don't think there will be a major problem in case.

Now, for everything we depend on the internet. There will be much difficulties...I think.

Before any other solution has been found, I guess we'll just go back to the time without Internet. We go to the library to do research, we contact with our friends or family with phones, we write letters and ask a favor from the postmen to deliver them for us, we read more books and we talk to each other face to face more often.
