What is your favourite number and why?
I think most of us have a favourite number of some kind, don’t we?
My favourite number is 42 and has been for many years. I can’t remember if I had a favourite before 42, no 42 always been my favourite number.
Why 42 I hear you ask. Well 42 is the meaning of life isn’t it?
Well according to “Deep thought” 42 was the answer to the meaning of life and everything. That comes from the book “Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy”.
So there you go my favourite number and the reason to why, what is yours?

Thank you, Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, I've edited it because I didn't check when I wrote it. Aww that's sweet :)

My favourite number is 13. It is my birth date and because other people are afraid of Friday the 13th there is every reason to love this particular day (whatever month it occurs in). If I built an office building it would have 13 floors, with the 13th being the most luxurious and most desirable.
I also like 42, it is the number of Jackie Robinson, the first black man to play in Major League Baseball. It is also powerful for the reason you stated in the Hitch-hikers guide to the Galaxy but it is also a very powerful number from history.
Overall though 13 is my favourite and in part that is because it is a prime number.

@kevin1877uk Some hotels and other tall buildings skip from 12 to 14 on numbering the floors. Officially, there is no 13th floor.

Well mine was always 3. Because back in middle school I would always see 3. So then I made it my number. Now I think it just brings bad luck.
And also my grandma passed away when she was 69. So I would see 69 everywhere. And now every time I see the number 69, I know my grandma is with me.
Those are my numbers

I've always been drawn to the number 8 but have reasoning behind it. It's just a number I usually pick

I don't have a favourite number. Hmmm. I'm now thinking this must make me odd as everybody else seems to have one!

I think 2 is probably my favourite number. As to why - no real reason, though perhaps I feel a connection with it as the first flat I bought had the number 2.
I do also like 13. That is probably because of all that unlucky for some type nonsense and then the fact that the house I lived in when I was a child was numbered 13. Naturally I grew up with the view that 13 wasn't actually unlucky as some would claim.
So, guess my favourite numbers may well have came from where I've lived.
