Just Wasted 45 Minutes Of My Precious Time

At around 10:45 A.M. my computer started to give me some trouble. It kept freezing, coming back and freezing again. So I decided to unplug it and plug it again. Then, nothing worked. Finally a screen came over and said that they were trying to fix "whatever". Didn't work. So I unplug and plug again and again. I was so tensed that I started to eat chocolates to ease my nerves. Finally after 45 minutes of wasting my time, everything was okay again. Go figure! Those 45 minutes will never be back though and I feel bad about them being lost forever.

Technology - can't live with it - can't live without it. Is it acting like a man this morning? I hope it doesn't give you any further trouble.

@marlina my hubby doesn't have trouble with his laptop but he does have trouble with the new account he set up on SKYPE. He get in and checks the box to keep him in and it throws him out again. So back and forth and at this moment he too has decided too much time wasted and is doing other things. Glad you got your problem fixed.

You didn't waste that 45 minutes - you ate chocolate! My ex-boss' way of "fixing" the computer was turning it off then turning it back on later. As if it would heal itself? I don't know, but sometimes it sure feels like it does!

You are right, I had the joy of eating chocolate to calm me down. I guess the computer did fix itself. I am thankful for this.

Wow I want one of those computers. It would be so lovely if my computer said it could "fix everything". Then I could have a coffee and after some time my world would be ... fixed.

@marlina Every person that ever touched a computer finds out that they can be troublesome. They got much better but still machines and act up. They are perfect until they break.

I have no clue what happened there, but after starting and restarting, it finally worked. It would be nice to have computers who don't behave bad.

That's annoying. When the computer keeps freezing. Shutting it down for a bit could help. It's unfortunate that you had to experience wasted time.

I hope that your computer is back to its old self now. By the way, eating chocolate is never a waste of time, I ate a piece a little while ago. Those darned toberone bars are too big to receive as gifts, and we still have half of one left.

I always get upset with technology. I don't know how to deal with problems. I wasted time responding to an email to a friend. I couldn't find (or remember) if I pressed "send", so I rewrote everything. She told me she received it the first time. But, I didn't eat chocolate! Lol!

Although, the computers are much helpful in our daily life but the time wasting process due to some reason is always painful .We should not be addicted of this .

When you unplug a computer or a tv or whatever, you need to leave it unplugged for at least 3-5 minutes. I always let it go 10 and go do something else to calm down!
