Ok I thought I'd start small!

Hi Everyone! I thought I'd start small and get my feet wet by playing Minecraft pocket edition before I took on the pc version. I'm not doing to bad! but I also hear there are big differences between the two versions. If anyone can enlighten me on this subject please do. any tips, tricks, or advise would be much appreciated.
