I Do Not Want It

I am beginning to have some of the same symptoms my husband has. I do not want it and I am going to see how I can avoid it. First things first, I think I am going to go soak in a hot tub with epsom salts and essential oils. I have been drinking ginger tea all day yesterday and today. I will keep that up. I will try to get some extra quality sleep. My sleep has been disturbed by the fact that my husband has been coughing. Last thing is that I am going to find good and positive thoughts and experiences to help me be healthy. If I do get sick, It still will be better because I am taking care of myself. @Mbalie can take some of the credit for me planning this special pampering "me time".

I sure hope it will work. You can also drink mint or ginger tea this one helps a lot too. when I have a sore throat I do gargle with some apple cider vinegar and man does that one work well. I mix it in warm water and gargle with it. Cures my soar throat right away. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I feel better and one of the first things I did this morning, before even coming here was to slice ginger root and boil up some tea. It is good for almost everything. He is having ginger tea with lemon and honey and cinnamon.

The hot soak felt really good. The eucalyptus in the soak smelled great.

I had him take a claritin antihistamine last night. He did not cough in his sleep but he is still miserable today. I feel better, though.

When one is down in the family with cough, then germs are around. You are taking precautions, and hopefully, that will work.

Hope you feel better. I would put a few drops of essential oils on your pillow or on a tissue and put in your pillowcase as that too will help

It's bad when you get sick because someone else is the house is. However we can't put the sick person in the garage to live until they are better. Sadly it's the nature of sickness to get shared. I hope you can avoid the worst of it.
