When you meet again

Definitely there will come a time where you will meet someone who will occupy a huge part of your life other than your family. A person who will make you feel and experience so many things you've never felt before, as well as, who will make a strong impact in your life as soon as he/she leaves.
Each one will be having their own version of sad-ending love story. For some reason it just didn't work out. It's one of those moments in our lives where it leaves us lost with so many questions we can't answer. And even if we can, it's still not enough to save us from the heartache and struggles to move on.
But for sure we will heal in time. We're surviving creatures anyway; we learn to overcome obstacles in life. I bet we can get to a point where we find ourselves again. We learn to use our past experiences to become better, stronger, and wiser.
Yet, sometimes, just when we thought we have totally moved on--we have left the past in the past--life just played a small trick on us and we fell back. Let's put ourselves in this precise scenario: you and the love-of-your-life before meet again unexpectedly.
To be honest, I haven't been caught in that moment yet. So I'm just wondering...
How was your experience? Or, what would you do if you meet again?

Quote Shakespeare in love: You will never age for me, nor fade, nor die.
Forever perfect.. Therefore, let's not ruin it by meeting again
