Working smart vs working not to fail

I was watching Steve Harvey show and there’s this man who was a workaholic to an extend of forgetting his family duties.Had a studio in his house where he spent time when back at home; recording and making deals and endless communications via his phone. Now this guy was absolutely out of touch with his family he didn’t even know his children ages, there needs and wants. His family make a date with Steve and they arrange a suprise family tour and he’s asked not to make calls, receive or simply attend to his phone. This guy is treated to a significantly hard time and he’s busted acouple of times Sneaking to his pocket for his phone. Though hurting in terms of opportunity cost, the man finally appreciates the new experience he got and the bonding he realized spending time with his family.

Rather than condemn that man if I were in his family I would congratulate him for providing a good home for us and working so hard. I would not need to see him lolz

I did not actually condemn i just wished that he spared sometime for his family even though he was working hard to sustain them

It is good to work to support your family.
