Eating eggs every day

I love eggs in nearly all forms except for hard boiled eggs. I enjoy eating eggs every day. If you are thinking of cholesterol with eating eggs, I can assure you that with adequate exercise, eating two eggs a day is not harmful for me. Those with heart problem probably have eaten a lot of high cholesterol food, and never exercise enough. They think that taking a 5 minutes walk is enough, but that is way below the minimum. The recommended minimum is 10,000 steps a day, and if you really want to be healthy, you have to walk more than that. I hate the idea of eating just egg white without egg yolk. An egg comes with egg white and egg yolk so it should be enjoyed as such. If I increase my exercise level, I can probably eat 3 eggs a day without increase in cholesterol.

I know that hard boiled eggs are used to reduce high fever. They are used in the same way as you have described, except that you can use them to roll all over the body. This is the first time I read about running nose therapy using eggs.

@Gamic01 it depends on either you have a running nose or antritis (dictionary says that word so). nevertheless in some nose diseases it is not recommended to heat it at all. doctors first, internet advices later

I exercise every day but I rarely eat eggs, maybe once or twice a week. We like eggs for an easy dinner too.

I like eggs at all time. If I have eggs for breakfast, I like to have 2 soft boiled eggs. I can put pepper and dark soya sauce. If I have eggs for a light meal, I like it in the noodle or soup.

It's good to hear that. We always cook eggs at home as well, as eggs are easy to store and cook, and my children like eating eggs as well. I try to limit 2 eggs per day too. I don't know if I am walking 10,000 steps per day, but I am always walking in and out, up and down, and also walking in the park. Hopefully that's enough. I didn't enjoy eating hard boiled eggs, but my son likes it since he was young. So, I always boiled the eggs and ate the eggs together with him, and started to enjoy eating it, without adding any seasonings. I am not worried so much about my cholesterol level now, as I think I am eating quite healthy and though not much exercises, at least some light exercises. I always check my cholesterol level every year, and it's always normal.

@scheng1 Then I think I haven't walk enough. I'll need to do more exercises after I give birth. I used to bring my children to walk in the park every morning, for about two hours. Sometimes I jogged for 2km in the park as well. I am not sure those are enough. I read about pedometer in Bubblews, I think it's nice, but I don't have the budget for that now. I also heard that we can install the pedometer app in our smart phone. I will wait till I get a smart phone.

I do not think you are walking enough. You can get a pedometer to track the number of steps. Most office workers who take public transport to work walk less than 10,000 steps. Even nurses in the hospital walk slightly more than 10,000 steps in their work, and they walk practically all the time.

I love soft boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and omelets. Have you tried steamed eggs? My mum love to cook it. She adds some water, minced meat, spring onion, and a little bit of sesame oil. It tastes just great.

If you have an active lifestyle, then yes. If you work in office, and sit whole day, then no.

I have a watch and it can record how many steps I walk everyday. Normally I can walk over 10000 steps a day since I go to work and go home one foot. I remember when I travelled in Singapore, I tried to walk over 25000 in a day. I think at that day we must go around many interesting places I don't have to pay attention to my diet now, since my blood pressure and other status are nice. Especially my blood pressure, sometimes I even wonder whether it is a bit low but the doctor said it was still normal.

It is hard to walk 25,000 steps a day in my country. It is so hot and humid, and you will sweat till your skin is sticky. I wonder how you manage it. You must have lost a few pounds when you are over here.

I love eggs too but i don't eat them every day. When i do i have 3 eggs and then eat good for the rest of the day. I try to walk and exercise alot but i am tired most of the time and this is probably why. I have a desk job so at work I try to get up on my breaks and walk around the building.

If you feel tired most of the time, it is either your work stress or you lack fruits in your diet. You can just to juice lemons on weekends, and make lemon juice to drink every day. Having fruits for every meal is tough but I think you can make do with 2 or 3 kinds of fruits for at least one meal.

Do you limit your self to chicken eggs? I also love duck eggs and quail eggs. I usually don't like hard boiled eggs but I love quail eggs being hard boiled.

I love quail eggs except that I hate to peel so many quail eggs. Over here, it is hard to get duck eggs, so that is quite impossible. Once I peeled about 10 quail eggs, and that was more than enough work for me, so now I stick to chicken eggs.

I think you have found a way to like eggs! Perhaps you can check online for recipes to cook eggs the way you like, and since eggs can blend with other ingredients, you can surely find ways to have more eggs in your diet.
