How to get better ads on MyLot

Like everyone, I'm tired of seeing ads for "miracle foods that will help me lose weight," "Hot Asian brides waiting for me," and "Celebrities that got fat. #17 blew us away."
I discovered a simple way to get more interesting ads on MyLot that doesn't involve changing any settings. The other night, while I was restoring my old AR-XA turntable, I searched eBay and Amazon for the turntable, the cartridge that came with it, and other turntables of the era.
Now I'm being inundated with ads from Amazon and eBay for turntables and cartridges. Sure, it's a little creepy that they track my search history and generate ads based on said history, but it's better than seeing the same click bait ads over and over.
I think I'll search a few Martin and Larrivee guitars on eBay, just to add pretty pictures of acoustic guitars to the mix.
Have you tried this strategy? I wonder how long my respite from Kim Kardashian and click bait garbage ads will last.

:) I really don`t like the lady stretching her facial skin, maybe I will look up rainbows and skittles :) or hot young men, yeah! there would be some eye candy for an old woman.

Yes, I got some cute jammies after I already shopped them. And, I got some Kindles after already doing that search. Search and you will receive. Is that what you are saying?

@TheHorse ...Some may not do it as much. It is in their algorithm I guess.

I have not tried it on purpose, but have seen it happen when I do search for things. I now have a purpose for searching, thanks.

@JamesHxstatic It worked! So far, Amazon came through (mandolins) but eBay did not (guitars).

This is a great idea. Think of what we enjoy seeing, search for them, et voila. Cool.
