Bake the Perfect Cake Using Cake Mix

This is a very simple way to turn store-bought cake mix into a delicious cake that tastes like it was made at a bakery.
Follow all of the directions and baking instructions on the box, with these exceptions.
*Add one or two more eggs than the box calls for.
*Instead of using oil, use butter and double the amount that the box calls for.
*Replace water with milk.
Doing this will result in a better taste and better texture for your cake. I have done this many of times and everyone thinks I made my cake homemade or bought it from a bakery!

The additional calories are scary but if that will make the cake more fluffy and test less manufactured, I am in.

we were given a lot of cake mixes so i've written down your tips.
how about pancake mixes? can you do the same and bake it in a pan instead?

That's positively devilish, and you an angel Now here's another tip. Fill empty spring water bottles with water from a filter jug, and they'll never know the difference!

I've never found baking a simple from scratch cake to be that much of an issue.
