Interact or Post, Which is Your Choice at myLot?

Due to the 11 hours power interruption, I failed to visit myLot this whole day. So I had to rush now to cope up with the day's loss.
Is it alright to post and interact later? I felt I had to interact first and finish my notifications to make my "presence felt" here. But posting will give more "exposure" for a new member like me.
What do you think? Do you post and leave and then return to go over your notifications, or do you interact first then post a discussion?

Interacting IS posting. I don't know how you would really interact without posting responses and comments. Sure, you can view, read and like other people's posts, but that's not really interacting, is it?
Posting a discussion, on it's own, isn't 'interacting', of course. It's inviting others to interact (and it's only other people's interaction which will make posting a discussion worthwhile).

Yes, it depends on your choice which is better. Sometimes it is hard to think of a topic for discussion, but it is easier to make responses to posted discussions.

I always try to interact as much as I can. I am always making use of the notification section and help me to read the responses and reply.
I like to start discussion as well, especially when I have something to talk about or share. Unlike in Bubblews, here I think it's good for us to interact more here.

@acelawrites Thanks for remembering me. I registered mylot about 10 years ago, and I have been using kaka135 as my username (kaka is my nickname) and I was not a mother yet.
When I registered Bubblews, I was already a mother, and I knew I was writing more about mothering and children, hence I used a different username to represent myself - happymum. kaka sounds more like a young girl to me, that made me feel like changing.

Either way is fine as long as you make sure to interact. =) I do it both ways-just depends on the day.

I think interacting and commenting is more beneficial than posting a discussion and then leaving

So true, @Marylinda, people will feel if you just write a discussion or just post it then leave without any interaction.

I will take care of all my notifications first, and then I will find discussions to respend to, such as what I am doing now. If I come up with a topic to discuss, then I will do that as well. Most of the time, though, I will take care of my notifications, and then respond to new discussions, that way, I can get more interaction, which makes for more notifications.

@acelawrites I feel that if people are going to take the time to respond or comment, I am certaainly going to comment back, as that is only common courtesy. Not everyone feels that way though, and is a shame too, but maybe someday, they will figure it all out.

You can post and interact at the same time. It's all up to you. As long as you are active, you should be OK here.

@acelawrites,I,for one, interact first and post later. As I lack time,I rarely post more than one discussion a day.You are right when you say that starting a discussion gives us more exposure which adds to our earnings here.I don't think it would make any difference whether you interact first and post later or vice versa.

Thank you @else34, yes, it can be any of the two, whether you will read/make comments first then post a discussion later.

I find interacting a lot of fun. You get to see more and read more. At times when you post you spend a lot of time answering all the notifications. I am not sure which actually pays more. I know heated discussion can increase your account rather quickly. But then if you have a lot of responses to other posts this works in your favor too.

Thanks, @phoehere for your reply. It isenjoyable to read reactions from readers, and we find it courteous to always reply to it. Active discussion is good, plus we earn from it.

firstly i like to interact, rather than posting, because it makes me very curious about the posts made by different people, from different parts of the world,so would prefer to interact.

Thanks, @dodo. It is really interesting to make comments where you can instantly think of a response specially when the topic is very interesting.

When I first log on to myLot, I like to interact and browse through the new discussions I missed. Then, I will go back to ones that I wrote and people responded , and go over notifications also. But sometimes I miss some here/there though.

I look at what is new, like and respond. Then I respond to any comments left (notifications). Last it is time to submit a new discussion.this works for me. I try for at least one post a day. It is not always possible. Some days I manage 3 posts.

Thanks, @Dalane, it is indeed easier to respond to discussions specially if they are interesting and if you have so much time.
