Gamma our pet rooster

We had 5 birds of them Gamma lived for 12 years. We lost him a couple of years ago. Gamma was not just a pet but he watched our property. He would alert us if he saw anything crawling. He even attacked strangers. He was very fond of our maid who would be disturbed by him while she was studying for her exams. He would jump on her books and stay there until she lifted him up and put him down. That was a ritual every day.
We miss Gamma a lot.

@allknowing It is so sad when one of our pets die. They are part of the family.

It was old age. I had to hand feed him in the end.

@silvermist He enjoyed when I carried him around. He would come to the door and give out a different cry so that we could open the door.

@allknowing That was sad.He was really a pet in the true sense of the word.. A very rare thing.

He had emotions too. He never liked to be left alone. He and Preiti were great friends. They went for walks together.
