Listening to Adele

Do you like Adele?
I got her new CD for Christmas (yes I still have CD's) and the more I play it, the more I like it. I find her voice a bit haunting and I've been enjoying all the songs on her CD (of course it features her new popular song Hello).
As it plays in the background I've been able to get my bills paid and now I'm ready to get some interacting going here on myLot.
Yesterday was a bit of a bummer for me here. I didn't get to write a post nor did I have much time for getting involved in discussions. Hopefully today won't be a disappointment. As we all know, real life can derail us occasionally.

I do like her, but I feel she will not b around long, there are so many artists that come and go. I do not mean that she is not good, but she is the trend right now.

I think she has a chance at longevity as she mostly does her own writing at the moment.
Maybe if the creative juices run dry for her she'd do more collaborations as she's certainly a good singer.

@Marilynda1225 Many times, I have found that some songs need a special voice, I think this is the case.

I was balancing my checkbook to the tune of the pouring rain! I like some of her songs, but not enough to get a CD.

@ivyparkgirl There are few CD's that I buy - we only listened to them in car and now we have satellite radio so we use that since we pay for it.

@Marilynda1225 Yeah I'll surely listen to the other songs as well.I have listened to very few of her collection but I have loved those to the fullest.

When I notice your post, what I do first is to turn on phone to play hello then I begin to read your post.

When I hear a tune that I particularly enjoy, I tend to look for more of the person who performs it. Often times I become hooked on them. Adele has a wonderful voice and her live performances prove that she can actually sing well.

She's ok and has a couple of good songs. Remember that music is a matter of taste and we don't all have the same taste.

She was gone for awhile and now she's making a big comeback so I think she's getting more air time and tv appearances to promote her new album

I love her voice! I like her peronality too. I haven't heard her new album yet, only "Hello". Been too busy to get round to listening to it but I'll get there too.

I do like adele, my favourite is rolling in the deep.
I think I prefer paloma faith to adele though.
