For the love of Bacon

My best friend and I are bacon lovers. Her more then I, I have come to find. She loves everything bacon. If the recipe has bacon she will love it no matter what. For Christmas I got her bacon jerky and she loved it. She loves when Burger King has Bacon Ice Cream Sundaes. If you haven't heard of it, yes it's a thing.
In a nut shell she is obsessed with bacon. Well recently I have noticed that I am not liking bacon as much. It is getting a little to salty for me. Low sodium bacon is still not as good. I think the closest I can eat now is turkey bacon.
Well the other day I had to break the news to my best friend that I am no longer a bacon lover. It was sad day, but she took it well. It's just one thing that we no longer share and that's OK.

Yes, I love bacon! Only problem is it's not very healthy and is full of sodium. So I try and love it only occasionally.

I love bacon especially in burgers or side of pancakes/waffles, but I don't eat bacon as often.

@T_gray Bacon in my burgers is a must!! Only place that doesn't have bacon available is In & Out though.

I like bacon too but not that much. I can't have alot of salty foods so have to watch what i eat. I could never have bacon in icecream yuck

The same thing happened to me. I used to love bacon and now I can barely tolerate turkey bacon. I guess it's just our bodies begging us to stop! lol

Bacon has been out of our cuisine for years. Somehow I feel these meats are not good for health. I may be wrong.

I do like bacon but I'm not obsessed with eating it. I've never had bacon ice cream nor chocolate covered bacon. I do like a good bacon cheeseburger

I would fry some bacon strips when my son was still studying. Now that he is already a college graduate, he no longer misses bacon.
