Writer's Newsletter and the Weekend Willies

I subscribe to a wonderful newsletter called FundsforWriters that was created by C. Hope Clark, the author of the Carol Slade Mystery series. This newsletter is always full of helpful advice for writers as well as news about contests, places to submit, and even jobs.
In today's newsletter she included a link to her new book trailer for her upcoming mystery book. It was very well done and gave me the willies.
It got me thinking about book trailers in general. They are a lot like trailers for movies. Have you seen any lately? Do you know anyone who has hired someone to make a book trailer for their book?
It seems like an up and coming opportunity for someone who enjoys making videos.

It's a great newsletter if you're actively writing. There's a free version and an extended one you can get for a nominal price.

@sallypup Do you have any books out? I'm working on my second. My first is available on amazon and elsewhere. Publishing is a lot of work.

@Sheilamarie78 I don't go on utube, never had an interest and always had a problem trying to watch one...it shakes a lot...no one could ever tell me why.

@AbbyGreenhill It must have something to do with your connection -- or maybe not. Do you have trouble connecting to other sites? Are you on Netfliks, for example?

I've seen a couple on Youtube. One was for a book written by a friend, so I was eager to see it for that reason. The other was the one I saw yesterday. It's an interesting concept.
