This work of art or monstrosity, depending on your point of view, has been built in Taiwan, to attract more women into church, apparently.
Standing around 55ft. high and built from around 320 tinted glass panels, and costing in the region of $686,000, has been erected on the waterfront as a possible wedding venue and tourist attraction, but will not hold regular services....somewhat contradictory to attracting more women to church, then.
It stands in the coastal province of Chaiyi, obviously lost by some mammoth Cinderella, en route to catch the Pumpkin ferry, before the stroke of midnight... so while the 'planners' may have considered it romantic and every woman's dream, to be married in a glass slipper.... for me it's grotesque and a blot on the landscape...how about you?

@TiarasOceanView Old Walt might have been pleased at such exposure for his creation and Vegas a better backdrop....but calling it a "church" is a step too far, even for the most liberal of Angel visitors... but just my viewpoint...

It holds no appeal to me, although I'm sure someone will think it awesome.

@Morleyhunt Curiosity value might attract tourists, looking for a 'backdrop' to their 'selfies',..labelling it a church, might be stretching it a bit far
