I feel a lot of happiness while visiting this site. It would be a lie if i say that i am not interested in the money part of it. I am, but only to a certain extent. I have been a member of this site for just a few days now and because of my work I could not be more active.
Every morning the first thought that comes to my mind is what should I discuss in mylot and how can I be useful to others in my own little way and would I find new good friends. Does anybody else have the same feeling.

well . here I am not for making money .
a friend of mine asked to evaluate how
this site works . And I am now almost
addicted to this site ...
however I cannot continue for a long time
here as this site requires lot of time &
bandwidth . time is very precious as you
all know . and internet charges are high .
I am also a responsible member on few
technical community forums . and my
presence is required on those sites .
I am afraid I may have to leave this
site in the near future ...

Sorry to hear that you'll be leaving. You were doing good work here by giving some good responses and helping others. I can understand very well about the internet charges here. But maybe you could just visit this site once in a while and join in some discussions.
I was working in the Railways and resigned after having my son. So I am doing a few part time jobs online and offline and trying to make use of my time and be of my a little help to my husband.
Anyway, best of luck.

You are certainly not alone in this opinion.
Mylot offers a great medium by which we can communicate and change opinions with others on a regular basis, and at the time which is most convenient to ourselves. Whatever your personal field of interest you can be certain that someone here shares that interest with you, so it can be a very enjoyable experience.
We also have the added bonus of being paid for it as you mentioned earlier.

Thanks for all the responses. That's a cute avatar. Nowadays I don't have much time to spend on mylot as I am a bit busy with other works. Hoping to spend more time in mylot in the future.

I am also enjoying this site answering discussions which interests me and thinking of what topics would I post that will hopefully catch the attention of other mylot members. I do not have full attention to this site since I have a full time work so I only have the time to post during my idle time or after work. This site will also help me to earn some extra income.

I share your feeling but I get a little unhappy when I find it hard to respond to anything. I fell gloomy that there is nothing interesting for me to respond too. I do find myself looking at views I've had and examining them closer. I feel mylot has enabled me to be more of a thinker.

I totally agree, this site gives me something to think about, my own little place where i can give & recieve advice, without the fear of repurcussions, 99% of the people on here are the best i could ever hope for in a chatroom, without all of the crap that comes with them. This site is definitely one of the best on the internet.

I'll be honest and say no. All for a little money for me.
