Sad to hear of Glenn Frey's death, Eagles founder was 67

The Eagles had so many hits: Hotel California, You can't hide your lyin' eyes, Heartache Tonight, and more. Frey wrote or co-wrote many of their hits and was a singer and guitar player. The group was to be honored at the Kennedy Center last month, but asked for a postponement so that all of them could attend.
Their songs played a part in many romantic moments of my life and some bad moments as well. I wish his spirit and his family a "peaceful easy feeling" (another of their songs).

I just read about that a few minutes ago! Very sad to hear. And talk about bad timing, I was just introducing my teenage daughter to the Eagles music and Glenn Frey's music!

I hope that she likes the music and that it is around for a long time to come.

@JamesHxstatic So far, there's been a couple that she really liked, and some she didn't like so much. But all-in-all, I think she will end up liking the Eagles! Besides, their music is timeless, so I think it will be around for years to come!

It seems that so many well-known people are dying. The woman who writes the obituaries for thedailyvoicenews.com (the online newspaper where I am the business correspondent), said today that she was overwhelmed by the number of obituaries she has written lately. It seems strange.

How odd that she would say that, in her position. It makes you wonder.

I suppose many people will be playing his music today. So many deaths lately! It makes me feel old.

Dying is sad enough, but he did not go easy. His illness was an especially cruel way to go.

Yes, it was. I feel for his suffering. I suppose the pneumonia actually got him.

Oh wow, that is sad news, been a sad start to the year already. I saw the Eagles back 95 in Huddersfield, UK, an amazing night.

I agree about the sad start, with Bowie and now Frey and more. You were lucky to see them.

That is so sad to hear.. I think the only music that they made was "Love will Keep Us Alive". I was in my sixth grade then when this song hit the Philippines.

Yeah I know what a total shame, he was a relatively young man too!
