Nope not the movie. Not 1 or 2. Home alone is me! Is it you? There are advantages to being home alone not with a bunch. For instance, at 10 in the morning I can eat lunch. "What!?!" you say, " that is way too soon.!" "You should not eat lunch until it is noon." If I need a nap at 7 a.m. I can go to sleep again. I have had my sleep, and now I will eat. I have clean laundry piled in a heap. Home alone, no one else to fold. No one to cuddle if I am cold. You find me here chatting with you. Just in case you are home alone too!

I don't know why but I thought of Dr. Suess when I read your poem, post, blog. It has the same kind of tempo to it. I'm not alone as much as I would like to be at times, but when I am, it's pure bliss.

That's just when I myLot too - when I'm home alone (or at least in the livingroom alone whenever everyone else is asleep). The only time I am truly alone at home is when Hubby is off to work and the kids are at school - but most of the time I am out doing errands. Enjoy the peace while you can!!

With our current vehicle situation I mostly cannot go anywhere. Hubby still works a full work week plus commute hence I am home alone.

nope, since hubby lost his job I dont get my home alone time, and I realized I miss it. so I am letting him sleep today so I can sneak in some me time

I have a roommate so I am not really home alone...but I was not really crazy about it when i was. Part of the problem is that this is the country and it can get quite lonely here without someone to talk to.

I used to work nights so I was home alone when my husband went to work. We did it that way so he could watch the children.

I love being home alone. It is quiet which is rare when you live with your parents and two brothers. Until the electricity go down and I am all alone. Then you will find me running out of the house like my life depends on it. I hate dark places.
