I hate flossing!

I absolutely hate flossing but I do floss!!
I have never liked flossing. I don't like rolling the floss on my fingers and shoving my fingers into my mouth.
Luckily, when I was younger I used the "DenTek Kids Fun Flossers" where the floss is into dinosaur shapes. Eventually I grew out of those flossers and just used the regular DenTek Flossers.
Now, one of my favorite mouthwash brands Listerine, came out with this Listerine Ultra Clean Access Flosser! This is one of my favorite flossers because the flosser has a longer grip allowing you to reach further into your teeth without shoving your fingers. And, I like how the dental floss yarn does not break! . And what's awesome is you could use this product even when you're in front of the computer (mess-free)!
Just a little review of this product I am enjoying!
Are you a fan of flossing your teeth?

They have some thinner floss in the market! Theres some flosses out there that is way too thick and I can't floss with them.

@T_gray The brand GUM has thin floss, but my parents use this Eez-Thru Dental Floss Threaders. I had to use this when I had braces years ago!

@infatuatedbby Really? I was unaware of thinner floss. You would think the dentist would tell me something like that. Crazy what you learn. Cause I sure do hate getting food stuck in between my teeth

I honestly just showed my 4 year old daughter how to floss just a while ago. I got her a fun floss kit, its got flavored floss string and shapes of different floss, me and my girlfriend have a prize basket for everytime she brushes or flosses. Helps us to help her to take care of her teeth.

I love those fun flossing kit. I had that as a child also! That is a great motivational way to have your daughter floss and be rewarded. Once your daughter gets older, she will appreciate you because her teeth and gums will be clean and healthy!

@godsmack423 Oh no! Was it her baby teeth? I'm glad the dentist could fix her chipped tooth.

I don't like flossing also but it's something we all have to do for healthy teeth and gums.

Ohh yes, sometimes over flossing can be bad. Maybe a little gentle when you floss.

@infatuatedbby I stopped using the water flosser because my dentist said it's not advisable to use it. I use an ultrasonic electric toothbrush.

I love flossing and I wish I had done it more in my younger year, maybe my gums wouldn't be as bad as they are now. The dentist doesn't recommend this gadget...he prefers patients to do it the 'old fashioned way'.
Do you use a water flosser - a Waterpick (I use a Panasonic brand, The routine the dentist put me on is: Brush, then floss, then waterpick, then gargle.

I told my dentist and dental hygienist that I hate regular flossing. They said I needed to purchase a Waterpik. I've had mine for many years, I own the Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser!
I use a combination of flossing with the reacher or the regular reachers, then brush, occasionally floss and water pick, mouthwash.

I think the floss is so important for the dental health. I not only use the traditional floss, but also use the water pik which is a water floss. After that, I will brush my teeth. I realize no matter how much I spend for the dental products, it will not as expensive as going to the dentist. As fixing a tooth can be very expensive today.

I hate it especially when it hits your gums. I got these picks at the dollar store which really help. It is $1.25 for a bag of them and does a month or two.

I find it really hard to floss my back teeth so I must admit I usually just do the front ones.

@JudyEv Then use a Waterpick, it does a good job of it.

Your back teeth are where you need it more. you bite with the front but chew with the back...and it all gets shoved down in between those teeth.

@AbbyGreenhill I know that but I find it nearly impossible to get the floss between the back teeth.

I floss on a daily basis, but to say I'm a fan of flossing - nope, but I don't dread it either. I use oral b essential floss as I prefer mine tasteless and springy. Some of the older folks from my culture use a tooth pick to fish out stuff stuck in their teeth which is not recommended.

I'm not a fan of flossing, but I do it. Oh yes, I do see people using toothpicks also! It's very common here at Asian restaurants.
