I am enjoying my accidental purchase of a free 30 day trial for Amazon Prime. My free 30 days only cost me a dollar. While I have it, I am catching up on my Downton Abbey. It is such a wonderful show. I love TV marathons, especially anything Masterpiece Theater.
It is a topsey turvey show, which keeps the surprises coming. They address so many cultural and social issues in such an elegant way on Downton Abbey. The writers should be proud of themselves.
Do you watch? Who are your favorite characters?

I have never watched Downton Abbey but I believe that it is very popular here in the UK and, possibly even more so in the 'colonies' (which, of course, includes the US ).
What I wanted to say, however, is DO be sure to make a note on your calendar for a day or so before your 'free' Amazon Prime membership expires so that you remember to cancel it (if you want to) before they automatically charge you for a year's subscription. Once they have taken the money from your credit card, they make it incredibly difficult to find out how to go about cancelling it! (Here speaks one who was caught out!)

Yes, I need to look the date up and write it on the calendar. I still have at least two more weeks.

@Raelove I agree although it'd be old time aristocracy rather than royalty as she wasn't royal.

I've not seen it before, haven't they now stopped making it? I'm sure someone was telling.
I love TV marathons. At first when I read your title that you were doing a marathon lol. TV marathons better then doing a marathon lol.

Yes they did stop making it. I have two more seasons to go before the bitter end. I try not to think about that, though. At least I can marathon it.

@Raelove Ill be honest, I cleaned and did other things during my marathon. I might have missed a detail here or there but I got the jist of it.

That is too bad. I am only finishing season 4 now. I have a little more to look forward to.

There are strong rumours going around about a film...I think they'll do it as the show has a big fanbase.

Good you are making use of the Prime option.
Do you think you will keep it or not?
Oh yes my Mom loves that show. I probably would too if I had time to watch. It is a very popular show alright.
I used to live where they filmed it.

Good use of your free trail. Are you going to get Prime for the rest of the year? I signed up last year and have not regretted the expense. I love getting free delivery on most of my Amazon purchases, and the shipping is so fast. Plus, they also have free shows and movies. Each year they add more free stuff.

I don't really watch much TV I have heard great things about Downtown Abby. Many people that I know, say I would love it if I watch it.
