I know that many myLotters are coffee lovers. Anyway, even those who do not drink coffee, should know that coffee has also other uses. 1. It fights cellulite Most of the pricey creams contain caffeine. Make your very inexpensive cream at home mixing 1 cup of coffee grounds with 3 tablespoon of coconut oil. Use the mix to rub your skin for some minutes and rinse. 2. Hair To have healthy and shiny hair, brew a pot of coffee (strong) and let it cool. Apply the cold coffee on clean hair. Wait 15 to 20 minutes and rinse. Repeat every 7 to 10 days. 3. Fertilizer Sprinkle used ground coffee near the roots of acid loving plants, such as blueberries, rhododendrons, gardenia, they will grow healthy. Other uses: kill the fridge odors, remove the smell on your hands, repel fleas, remove stains and scratches from dark wood. Anything else you can share?

Fortunately, I don't have any cellulite, but know of the other uses. I can't use it on my blonde hair. I bet you know why! Lol!

@LadyDuck Again, we are so alike! I am sure your niece has beautiful shiny black hair with or without the coffee. I wonder if it would tone down gray hair?

Do you mean,I can have more reasons to have coffee? I love it anyways. My cousin used coffee to add more darkness on the Henna she put on her hands during her wedding. It added redness and deepened the color. I did use it (after this) on my hair once, and they turned Tan (reddish brown) - maybe because I used same process with henna for my hair. So I have not attempted it again.

It's better to be careful to use colored liquids on our hair. I have seen people using Coca Cola, the hair turned blonder.

I have never bought or consumed coffee. I do not like the flavor, never have. I was told it is an "acquired" taste. I do not understand the concept. If something tastes bad, I do not try it a second time. Why would I? There are so many things that taste good.

@LadyDuck I have been trying to force myself to drink green tea for the anti-inflammatory benefits. Even with lemon, it does not taste good to me, but this way at least it isn't foul tasting.

I use coffee to pick up unsuspecting ladies in the coffee shop that I frequent. The line 'Let me put a coffee collar in your drink, you don't want to burn your lovely hands. By the way, I know the person that invented the coffee collar.' always works!

I never drink coffee from a paper cup, I like to have a real ceramic cup, with a handle of course. Do you mean the real inventor, or the one in the movie "Made of Honor", they are not the same person.
