holding hands in the public

When I first dated my boyfriend, we would hold hands. Now, not so often. Occasionally we would and it'd be cute.

Holding hands in public means he is a great guy to be a boyfriend.He is proud of you to hold onto.

I just like to hold hands with someone I'm close to and who wants to hold hands with me. His holding my hand because he is proud of me sounds a bit egotistical to me.

At one time I was dating this girl. Sometimes she could allow me to hold her and in public and sometimes she would not let me to. This was just a hint that she was cheating on me... I left her before coming to know that she was actually double dealing us-- my close friend and I.

@sarameastrong well it`s good to hold hands but I don`t favor much public displays of affection. It `s not like being proud of having her but an affection can be felt by such hold. The reason I dont like too much of such displays as I reside in India and I feel it awkwards in quiet some places as it can make our elders into a discomfort zone by seeing such gestures.But at the same time, if one is sure of the environment around him/her then it is ok to have such casual hand to hand hold.

i think its so cute.. even my bf used to hold my hand, while crossing road i hold him tight. n that is the amazing feeling ever. i just wish the time stop n i hold his hand ever n forever. but my bad luck .. it dosent matter.. n about your frnds.. yar its their prblm. dont care, about them. if they r you frnds they vl understand you... do wat you like, dont care. njoy your cute moments.. u r lucky to have it.

I've been there. For the couple, it's cute and a sign of affection. But for the people who sees them, sometimes they mutter negative comments under their breath. I would love it if my boyfriend would hold my hand as we walk. It's fine too if I saw some random couple holding hands and I think it's cute. Well except if they're blocking the way as they hold hands and walk slow. That's annoying and they seemed so trapped inside their own little world so they don't notice it.

Generally speaking, holding hands in public is a normal thing to do. It shows that you and your partner are together and that you're not afraid to be with him when others are around you. It's loving, intimate and affectionate. That's not saying that you have to hold hands every time you step out the door, it's not always the most essential thing in any sort of relationship. My boyfriend and I would just walk side by side without holding hands at times and we'd still feel comfortable no matter what.
