Many people says, nowadays, that democracy is a fallen system, because it is easy to a bad politician with the strongest allies get the power. Is it true?

Nobody deserves the Bush administration, not even the people who allegedly voted for him.

Electing chosen representative is becoming more and more complicated in the sense:
1. You do not find the right, honest, dedicated guy who has genuine interest to contribute for the welfare of his fellow beings of his locality
2. Majority of them are corrupt because to become a candidate, he has to spend a huge sum of money and Where does this money come from? Where does he gets it? From his political party? Where do they get it? From general public - business men, Liquor barons? or some group with vested interests. Why do they give money? Because they want favours from the candidate once voted to power.
