movies for a snowstorm

United States

So new jersey is expecting a massive snowstorm this weekend. I've heard reports from half a foot to a foot and a half, strong winds and lots of ice on the roads. What this basically means to me is that I will be staying bundled under blankets with some hot chocolate and having a movie marathon. I've been trying to branch out and see some new movies instead of my go-to choices. Anyone have some suggestions for good snowday movies?

I'm guessing you have HBO, but do you also have AmazonPrime? I've found so many good shows via Amazon, one of them is Outlander, I was totally impressed with the accuracy of the costumes used when depicting the past and of course the hunk that played the part of the heroines love interest. Just sign up for Amazon first then look for subscriptions and add Starz to it, you'll get a free trial. The miniseries is awesome. As for that dadblasted storm, I hope is isn't going to be as bad as Sandy was.

Not looking foward to this snowstorm at all but I'll give this a try! I don't really know anything about it so it might be nice going into something with no bias

@rebelann I shop with Amazon all the time and have a prime account but I always forget that they offer movies and tv shows. Netflix tends to be my go-to

Hope you don't lose power! That sometimes happens here and then TV is the last thing anyone thinks about-

I hope I don't either! Fortunately where I am in we almost never lose power during snowstorms so movie marathons are a great time killer

It is all a matter of personal tastes, hard to suggest anything.

Agreed but I'm personally open to any suggestions. I could always turn it off if I don't like it
