The Blizzard (A Poem)

The snow was blowing here and there.
I couldn't see most anywhere.
My eyes were blinded by the snow.
I didn't have very far to go.
The lines on the roads were hard to see.
I prayed I'd get home and have some tea.
This blizzard is shaking me to the bones.
I'm feeling afraid and all alone.
But fortunately, I'm safe at home.
My car is sporting a brand new tone.
White all over with caking snow.
At least I didn't have to face a tow.
