This morning, a friend and her son came to my house and we had some activities together with the kids. We had breakfast, circle time, baking session and handwork session. I am not good at baking at all, my friend guided me how to bake the butter cookies. It's the first time I used the piping. I think it's quite fun to pipe, but I really need more practice. The children were helping in the process of preparing and baking the butter cookies, and of course, they enjoyed eating the cookies as well. I will need to bake more, as all of us like to eat butter cookies. Moreover, I enjoy the process and the aroma of baking. Do you like baking? Do you like butter cookies? Yes, I know you are a really good chef, good at cooking and baking as well. I always admire those who work well in the kitchen. It is so amazing to produce such delicious food. I am planning to learn more, so I can enjoy cooking or baking time together with my children, and we can enjoy healthier and perhaps less expensive food as well.

I think as you gain more and more experience, you can try baking with apples or other fruits to make it a healthier biscuits. Perhaps your children will grow up into great chefs.

Thanks. I have always wanted to learn to bake, tried a few times, not so successfully, but the children and I still enjoyed. I'll try with the fruits next time. I am still at the very beginner stage now.

Those butter cookies look yummy! They look like the style I buy in a tin container, I can't recall the name. I bet the butter cookies were yummy and buttery also! Great job pipping for your first time. I hardly bake and when I do, it is usually with my sister so I have her guidance.

Thanks. I am not too sure, but I think they are called Danish Butter Cookies. My husband and children like to eat those butter cookies in tin as well. I am planning to make more, and practice the piping skill. It's actually quite fun and interesting to do the piping. It's good that you have a sister who can bake and guide you.

Some butter cookies that I've had were a little too heavy with the butter. I like more mellow flavors. You might have to send me some of your so I can taste-test them! LOL

There are still some cookies left, delivering some over to you..... I didn't cut down on the butter, and just following the recipe, I cut down the sugar a lot, though it's still a little bit too sweet. My husband and children like the butter taste. I am planning to bake more, so we can share some with the neighbors. Cookies are something nice to share with others.

Baking cakes is really hard for me. I have tried to bake sponge cakes as I thought it's the easiest to learn, but I failed making a good one. I'll try again. I think baking cookies is easier, it seems like no matter how, the cookies will turn out to be fine. I am not good at cooking as well, glad that now we can always find recipes and tutorials online. Sometimes I refer to my mom as well. Happy studying!

@kaka135 Thank you. Cooking is a good hobby and we can learn many things from it. I remember that we couldn't make some cakes properly in first and second times. Sometimes cakes hasn't any taste and sometimes we couldn't bake it correctly. But now we can make a good cake. I think ,we can learn the art of cooking soon. So we try it now.

Thanks. The cookies are almost finished, and I might bake the next tray soon, since I am motivated now. I am not good at cooking or baking at all, I just cook simple dishes so far.
