I am 76 years old and feel that the best way to stay healthy is to keep active. In the summer I do a lot of walking but it is winter now where I live and the roads are often icy and slippery, so I opt to spend an hour a day at the gym. Do you like to exercise or go to the gym?

I drive my husband to the gym. Does that count?

Excellent, that is great to hear you take your health in your own hands in such a positive way. I agree that going to the gym is definitely important at least a few times a week if you are able to. This is especially true in the winter months when it's much too cold to exercise, run or walk outside. Keep up the great work!

Hi Hatley, It's so good to know that you are still here on myLot! You are still joining in discussions and staying active, how great is that! If I have a good quality of life I'd love to live to that age as well. I hope you will be around here for many more years. Blessings.

Yeah I go to the gym 5 days a week I'm a fitness junkie and right now my abs are showing so it motivates me to work harder I mean it's tough as the belly is the fastest part of my body to get fat that's why I do a lot of cardio exercises to keep it slim. @Pose123

Thank you Val. I'm not able to walk much during the winter due to the ice and snow but I agree that walking and swimming are good exercise. I haven't been swimming for more than a year now but I love nature walks in the summer. I find the gym to be excellent. Blessings.
