How do you feel about David Blatt being fired as head coach of the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers?

Although the Cleveland Cavaliers had a record of 30-11 and were in first place in the Eastern Conference, head coach David Blatt was recently fired and replaced by his assistant Tyronne Lue. Blatt had been with the Cavaliers since the 2014-2015 season, and led Cleveland to the NBA championship series against the Golden State Warriors last year. Many speculate that star player LeBron James was responsible for Blatt's firing. Do you think a pro team should be run by a star player or the head coach?

Blatt was hired prior to James returning so he never was the right coach for the Cavs as constructed around LeBron. But he got a raw deal as LeBron apparently plotted against him and refused to listen to him in the huddle and encouraged other players to do the same.

LeBron will never publicly admit this, but I feel what you say is true.

@pauliek I also read LeBron tried to get rid of Spoelstra in Miami but Riley totally backed his coach with more power than LeBron.

Even in hindsight I don't think this was fair to David Blatt. I really don't think a star player should be running the team. They're in the finals again but I think this is their greatest weakness.
