Sunglasses and Army Fatigues

We went to get some breakfast this morning from our local Mcdonald's. It was around 5:40 AM when we pulled up to the drive thru and saw a gentleman with army fatigues and what looked to be sunglasses or prescription sunglasses. He tried TWICE to get us to roll down the window but we would not. When we got to the window we alerted the guy who was taking care of our order. He appeared to be the manager of this particular Mcdonald's. Apparently this isn't the first time this guy in the army fatigues has been acting strange. The manager assured us that he would call the law on him this time. I feel for the guy, especially out in this cold, but hopefully the police department can help him find somewhere warm to stay where he can get a decent meal.

You have a kind heart but I don't blame you for not opening your window.

I hope he gets help but you just can't trust anyone anymore. You don't know what they may do. Do you have a lot of homeless over there?

@jaboUK It is so sad that so many are homeless now. People just fall through the gaps with all of the regulations set in place.

That is very sad that anyone is out in the cold. You were right however not to roll the window down.

According to the manager of that Mcdonalds? He comes in and gets a coffee every day.

Sometimes I feel quite sad for not being able to trust others, even they really need our help. There are just too many cheating cases around. We can easily fall into the trap if we try to help. I think these cheating cases have made the people in need into troubles as well, as not many people dare to trust them anymore. Good that you have talked to the Mcdonald's staff or manager, and he will help to call the police for help.

Yes it is sad that we can't trust people anymore. A few years ago one of our local news reporters went out on the streets dressed as if he was homeless. It was an experiment to see who would help him, give him money etc. I don't remember the results of that experiment but it goes to show you don't know who really needs the help and who thieves. I hope the man I saw the morning does get the help he needs.

It could have been innocent enough but you just can't trust anyone anymore.
