What Not to Teach Your Kid

I've mentioned in previous posts about the idiocy of parenting skills. Well after last night's news report coming from Addison, Texas (just north of Dallas), I'm absolutely convinced there are some people out there who shouldn't have children.
A mother and her 7-10-year-old son were in a local restaurant. While dear mommie was the "look-out", she had the boy STEAL a wallet from a woman's purse. The incident actually happened on January 1st, but police have been trying too locate the woman before putting it on the news.
Apparently they have video footage of the woman and want people to come forward with who she and the boy are. Talk about parenting skills. Nothing like teaching your child to become a thief at a very early age. She needs to be horse-whipped.

This reminds me of the mother and son outlaws of the past.
That is something that has been taught and passed down many, many times.

I guess morals, values and ethics go by the wayside @andriaperry . And they wonder why more kids aged 10-18 are incarcerated.

It's absolutely shameful @Hatley . Can't you just hear her excuses when they catch her? "I didn't know he did that"; "I never told him to do that"; "It's not my fault"; "I wasn't the one who took it". Oh brother.

I owned a bridal shop. A man had his 7? Year old son steal a shawl from under the counter while I helped another customer. This was upsetting. It was magnified when the child's mother bragged about this to her hairdresser. I know the hairdresser.

Good grief @Morleyhunt . That poor kid; he'll never learn the difference between right and wrong.

That is absolutely dreadful. They have shown similar incidents on TV here in California, too. I agree that some people should not have children.

Yes, some parents have many bad habits and they practice them to their children. Sometime adults want make their children with manners and they always teach to their children about manners, but parent's can't do them. So how can children grow with good habits ? Children always try to be a people like their parents. Parents are children's heroes. "Example is better than precept. "

I think that's where the teachers in school should step in and help @hiru84 . However the schools are getting as bad. They have to deal with unruly kids too. Unless a child is taught right from wrong before the age of 5, you can forget about it.

I agree. It's becoming viral already that children are being used to do crimes.
