2:30am poem. Inspired? Challenge!

Still awake, and this is what happens: How do you feel about the wayward gold- The lackluster shine of your frame of mind? What about the smile at the corner of one's eyes? So happy, but tired, and rather old, There's a truth in the sparkle there- A carefree worry and unconcerned care. Wisdom gained from a life lived knows. Sometimes, when I read or hear a poem from someone else, l'll respond with one of my own. I'm inspired by what they compose in a way. It's like responding to a someone's comment on social media or IRL, just in a poetic way. Have you ever experienced this? Here is where the "challenge" part comes in. React to the poem above with one of your own, if you feel moved to do so. Go with whatever first comes to mind. Have fun with it! n_n On a side note, what weirdness do you pull at 2:30 in the morning?

Nice! Writing is always one way to pass time, and a good companion to have. Which reminds me, I have some blogging myself to do. What do you blog about?
