How did you pick your user name?

When I started with Associated Content I had to come up with a user name. I had already decided 'Abby' would be part of the name but I needed a 'last' name. I sat at my computer and looked out of the window and all I saw was a big green hill. That's how AbbyG (G for greenhill) was born.
When I became a Featured writer at AC they wanted us to have 'real sounding names'. I had to amend my name to Abby Greenhill. Since then my name always starts with 'Abby'. Abby is not my real name, it was the name of our previous yellow lab, it is my way of honoring her.
The writing world has a million stories, so how did you come up with your user name?
Photo of Abby is mine.

Ducky was my nickname when I was a very little girl, because I was small and I used to sing an Italian song of the 50s "Papaveri e Papere" (Poppies and Ducks). As I am no more young I thought that Lady Duck was more appropriate than Ducky.

Yes, in that case Lady Duck is very appropriate. I never had a nickname, my real name is quite enough.

See, you're tells your story! Abby was a good girl, 13 1/2 years, and every day was a pleasure. It's been 4 1/2 since she is gone and I still miss her every day.

@sueznewz2 We said no more dogs and three days later after crying all the time I said we either get a divorce or a puppy - we got a puppy and it was just what we needed. Totally diff. from the first one, she is totally my husband's dog. He can't leaeve her sight for a second. Wow, 19, that dog lived a long live for sure.

Here and I thought that was your name. My username is a reflection of who I am and what I do. I'm a Christian author so everything I write is just for Him, so I just substituted the number 4 and made it all lowercase so it would be easy to write instead of having mixed cases - just4him.

That is nice that you honor your dog that way. My name is a collection of Irish and Native American. I am both of these. Irish= Celtic and Native American=Eagle so it becomes celticeagle.

That is a nice combination, I did think your name was Abby because Abby Greenhill does sound like a legitimate name. But I see how previously at the writing place you needed a name that sounded real. My username is just based on an old screenname years ago, no story really.

What a beautiful dog no wonder you needed to honor her! I have a couple usernames around the web but krazykatlady is pretty self explanatory. I live in a house full of cats. :)

The first part of it refers to a nick name my sister gave me as a kid. The numbers refer to Nascar driver numbers (on cars that I am a fan of).
