I am still a kid at heart

Atari, Sega Genesis, NES, Super NES, and all of those that fell inbetween and since. I didn't get to play video games very much as a kid because I was epileptic. I have been seizure free since my 18th birthday ten years ago. I had meningitis as a child and that was why I had the epilepsy. Anyway, as a kid I wasn't allowed to play games for as long as my cousins and sibiings. My mom was more lenient on this than my grandparents, but either way they were very careful and weary. For this reason I was not an avid fan of video games. Oh sure I had a few favorites and enjoyed them but I wasn't as avid as those around me. I didn't really get into video games again until 2007 or so. This was in part due to the "big x" as I call him. I will go through spouts of playing this game and that, and then not pick up a game at all. Much the same as with my reading. I'll read nonstop for months and then not pick it up again for months. My nephew and I are playing a Hardcore Survival on Minecraft. He comes over here every other weekend to get away from home responsibilities and his sister (he is 15) and we will play a game or two. Last weekend it was Hardcore Survival and this weekend it will be the same. For those who are not familiar with it? Hardcore survival is where we have to survive in the minecraft world on the hardest setting WITHOUT dying. If we die then it's game over. how are you still a "kid at heart" ?

Kids are our portal to our own childhood as well as our gift for the future.

I go to Facebook for a break off and on and play some games. That's the only games I play.

I used to play a lot of games there but have since stopped. A lot of them you have to constantly be asking friends for resources and then it becomes a waiting game.

@ScribbledAdNauseum ...I don't play those type of games. I play mostly word games and hidden object ones. No need for friend's input but you can send them stuff and receive things like money and tickets but that is all.
