Welcome to MyLot. It depends what you mean by 'effective'. Yes, the site does pay (on time, every time when payment is due). Yes, you can earn money as long as you follow the Guidelines and when others interact with your posts (which means any discussion, response or comment you make). The most important things to read first are the Community Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs which will tell you how the site works and what you should (and should not) do in order to get the best out of it. This page shows you where you can find the essential information and also has other information you may find useful:

You do get paid here, as our earnings start on the first of the month, and go to the nd of the month. If you have the minimum by the end of the month, then you will get paid the following month by the 15th. If you don't have the minimum, then whatever you have made to that paoint will bde added to what you make the next month for the whole month. You can rest asssured, that you will be paid on time everytime you reach the minimum.

Welcome Mia, Yes it's effective. Just interact and read the community guidelines. Watch your earnings grow by liking and commenting on post. Also create posts too to get more people to interact and follow you. It'll happen over time.

The more interactions basically the better. The site just wants people to interact with people in the discussion boards and not to ignore eachother basically. Then if you were to look each of us up and go to our discussions and start commenting on them the more money you make. It just goes around.
