Mostly a day at home

I am always stocked up, and do not have to make an extra trip. I think hubby shops recreationally. We went to Newton this afternoon and I felt like the weather was changing.

@T_gray The weather has been great, but this afternoon we could feel the front moving towards us. Change in barometric pressure or some such.

@GardenGerty I'm not one to panic. I guess I'll get what i need. Only because i need it anyway. I'm not ready for the weather to change, that's for sure....

I do not think I ever catch up anywhere.

today did not go as I planned but I still had a good day. When I am riding places with hubby I nap.

Is that the same plant we sometimes grow as a house plant in the US?

@JudyEv No, I was thinking of a plant that is a dracaena probably. It has cane sections and is often called a good luck plant. No flowers. Now I will have to look up your leptospermums.

@GardenGerty This is a native plant and not very decorative so I doubt it is the same. The botanical name is Leptospermum laevigatum. There are now many hybrid leptospernums which are popular with gardeners. They are mostly big shrubs with some prostrate types. I'll add a photo of one of ours. They come in a range of colours, single or double flowers but are much more decorative than the ones we're cutting back.

So far none of the "bad weather" has been that bad. We do get lots of wind in our location, though. We had some really cold days as well.

I cannot get my husband motivated in any way to do anything I want done.

@celticeagle I am on my second one. He did do some stuff today and we had a long talk about my expectations, and his.

@GardenGerty ...I would throw him out with the dish water then and call in some fresh enlistments.

It is good your headache went away. I wish my daughter lived close enough for a visit.

With February being a shorter month you will have to work a little harder. I have barely over twelve. I had some days I could not be here at all.

@GardenGerty I am not here everyday either, so I try to make those days up by working harder the day before and the day after. If I don't make the payout though, it is okay, as I will get it the next month, like now, as I didn't get it in Decemeber, but now I have over $11. I have other sites I am doing and trtying to work hard on them too, so I will have a little more coming from them too, as well as from here. Every little bit helps, that is for sure..

Hubby would come watch John Wayne with you. No, I did not accomplish one thing I planned. We did some running around hubby wanted to do though.

We did not shop until after lunch and there were several places we went.

One forecast hubby looked at skipped Monday entirely. It was nice today, nice enough tomorrow, and then Tuesday it is to be bad. It did not even mention Monday.

Because of internet outages and being gone yesterday and today more than I wanted, I have hardly been here at all.

@GardenGerty Well we all get days like that- and there's always something to do. Nice when you get a good long time to go through everything you want to do on myLot.

I always hope to get the things done on Saturday that hubby needs to help with, but it does not happen that way. He likes to go shopping and such.

I hope your Sunday was great as well. I know you were going to be busy. We did not get home from church until 2, because of a carry in dinner.

You sound like you really plan well. I try to get my husband to do the same.

Wish we had an aquarium around here.

I can think of things to do, and make plans much faster than I can accomplish them.
