It has often been said that the English language is the most difficult language to learn, for those who do not learn it from birth. I tend to agree with that statement. Here are some examples that can be very confusing. 1. address: This word, as a noun, can mean your house number and name of your street and the town in which you live. It can also mean speaking, as in a “public” address, to a group of people. Or as a verb, to address or speak to a person, or group of people. 2. kite: This word can mean a bird of prey and scavenger or a paper and wood toy that you can fly in the air on a windy day. 3. sign: It can mean a billboard to advertise a product, or a Yield sign, or Stop sign. It can also mean to write your name on a document or a sign of weakness. It can also mean a way to speak to deaf people. There are hundreds of words like that. Here is the challenge. What English words would you add to this list?

Here's my addition to your list. A cabinet as a noun according to Oxford Dictionaries means a cupboard with drawers or shelves for storing and for displaying articles but it could also mean a body of advisers to the president composed of the heads of executive departments of the government.

How about book: the book that you read, and book, as to book your vacation.
