Do you try to save money on clothes by sewing? / myLot

I really can't sew...it is one of the domestic arts I am no good at it...but I kind of wish I could do it. I had a sewing machine and I gave it away...I never used it. My mother used to sew though and it was fun to go in a fabric store and look at patterns, and buy things. I just am really bad at doing things with my hands.

i do sew alot...but i cant say a save a lot of money to do it Fabric is to expesive for that The upside is that you really get a one of a kind garment

I used to sew a lot and made my boys their outfits when they were babies. I have in the past made my clothes also but then fabric was inexpensive to buy not like today and the high prices. I no longer sew one thing is you can buy some clothing cheaper than you can make them.

I do repair things and take them up etc, but rarely sew nowadays
