I am about 8 to 9 hours from my family of origin. I would love to have a summer place up there. Maybe some day it will happen! It is a big trek to go up North and see my family. What about you do you live close to your birthplace? I think like half of people do.

No I do not, I was born on the East Coast, but then moved to middle of the states around 3 yrs, but lived in the one house where we all grew up for around 20 yrs off and on. I am a few states away from there and probably will never see it again.

No I am not close to where I grew up and don't plan on going back there as there is no one there anymore to see or visit.

I was born and raised in Missouri. I've lived 1100 miles away in North Dakota for about 11 years now. I'm still in Missouri at least once a year, usually 2-3 times.

It is a six hour drive to where I grew up and I don't have any family there anymore. I have no real reason to go back. I like the Central Coast of California much better than So. California.
