Need some sympathy...down with bad cold..

So my eyes are leaking cheeks are burning..I know I have cold because my throat feels sore and my otherwise rat like voice sounds so masculine.
I hate headaches..
But here is the worst part...I expect to be pampered. Seriously. At 56 I like it if dad shows excessive concern.
Sometimes he gets angry that I got sick but usually he checks on me twice or thrice in the night and that makes me feel like under teens.
Do you like others fussing over you? I sure love it. And honestly tend to overact too.

I am also 56 until tomorrow, and an orphan since a few years. I have nobody to pamper me when I am sick, except my old cat. Thinking about it, I was liking to be pampered when I was a child, but the kid was hating this, and I was telling to my mother that I was not needing a mother hen. I hope she has forgiven me now.

I don't know if you watched Australian open tennis matches. There was a small game in which Arantxa Sanchez Vicario and Henri Leconte played against Kim Clijsters and Todd Woodbridge. It was so entertaining and I thought Top must be like this. lol. Leconte was still playing quite well though he was acting..

But that is just five minutes ...it was in afternoon out here ...we enjoyed it thoroughly..lol

I like it when someone checks up on me too when I'm not feeling well. I feel fine now just still getting dizzy because of no sleep. Hoping I will catch up on sleep soon though. Feel better

@kevin1877uk ..No...actually it strengthens the immune system if we don't take these medications. lol. Only ginger tea, and had milk with turmeric in it.

Cold? Awesome. Here is my idea (you can call it insane... you wish). just as a Diamond cuts another diamond, iron cuts another iron, a cold can cut cold. Have a cold coffee if you like or even some ice cream. Share some with papa too. (He might fuss more... but then... we all tend to love it sometime)

Vandy, if you think your throat has white spots, please get some antibiotic.
You do not want the strep throat so deadly.

Im the opposite, I have been sick for about 4 days and I dont like the over attention, my wife attending me and showing me affection is enough for me

Ahwee I hope you feel better soon!
I have a cold as well but can't act sick because my friend has a cold too. He has a "men cold" maybe you know it. He feel like he would die (or he just act like it)
