Glenn had to take his son to meet his mother to go with her for the weekend. We pulled into the gas station and his son got out to go get in his mothers vehicle. I remained in the car and noticed the guy next to me talking loudly to himself and shining a flashlight on his door.
He knocked on my window and told me that his was hit. I said I was just the date and I would get the father. Glenn came over and asked what was going on. I said this guy said that Mike (Glenn's 9 year old son) hit his door into his car.
The guy said that it was hit so hard it shook his whole car. Glenn asked where and I looked at the car where the guy had been shining his light and said I don't know. The guy pointed to a swipe of dirt. Glenn touched it lightly with his finger and the dirt wiped right off. There was no scratch, no dent, nothing. I don't even know if Mike hit the door at all honestly.
I told the guy he must not have children if he was worried about something as simple as that. Glenn just said there is nothing there and we got in and started to drive away. The guy pulled out his phone and tried to take a photo of the front of our vehicle where in that state a license plate is usually in the front but we are not from that state.
I was disgusted. It is people like that who are so sue crazy. His son is very small he looks like hes about 6. I can see if there was literally a dent in the car door I would have apologized immediately for the child but there was NOTHING there!
So then off we went the two of us to go to the movies. We got there around 7:15. He had wanted to watch Reverent but it wasn't playing until 9:45. So we decided to watch Dirty Grandpa which started at 7:30.
I wasn't impressed with the movie. There were a few really funny parts but that's about it. They tried to hard to make things funny and it was just lame instead.
After the movies it was pretty late so very few things were open. We stopped at the local pizza place to see if there were any slices left we could get. Someone had called and ordered a round pizza and not picked it up so they sold it to us for half price. We ate it on the way home.

I would have been really disappointed if I had spent money to see a movie and found it to be less than entertaining. My husband and I rarely go to the movies and would rather rent a dvd to view at home.
