Never give up

When things don't go the way they should, we all have a tendency to give up and say the heck with it and never try again. Quitting never gets you anywhere.
It seems the easiest thing to do is to give up, but that is the cowards way out. I have thought about quitting too, and I am not a quitter. Believe me after my divorce it was a challenge to keep going, but hey, I am still here, and I am glad I am too.
I am here to tell anyone that if you are thinking of giving up on anything including life, don't do it. Things might seem hopeless, but they aren't as things will get better. I can testify to that.
I haven't had it easy lately, but I know that things are the way they are supposed to be, and I know that I will come out on top before to long. Actually though, life is just what you make it, so stay focused, and never give up.

Believe me, being alone and struggling like I have, has made me feel that way, but I know that I am not a quitter, and I don't want to give up, as I want to keep plugging away, as things aren;t always going to be the way they are now, and I have that t hold on tio.

I think knowing when to change a way of doing things are important. If you're not seeing the result you want, consider changing a tactic. Often people mistake that as "giving up". It's not, e.g I need to make money to pay for bills so I get a job instead of hanging around online and try to find something that will pay for the bills. Now if I work YouTube or Instagram it may be lucrative, but if I don't have the interest or the inclination to work these media, then yas I should just get a job. I've seen too many people persevering down the wrong path and not really seeing it as what it is. Then they wonder why they don't succeed.

Very well put. I have stuggled since my divorce as it has been hard, but I have stuck with it. I still struggle some, but God is getting me through it all. Believe me, when I was aksed for the divorce, I certainly felt that my life was over, but I am glad I didn't give up and kept going, as now I know, that I am worth it and God has a plan for me.

@Drosophila I often wondered during that time if I would ever get through it all, but God has taen me through it. He has not kept me from the struggles, but took me through them. I am so glad of that too.

It is so hard to try to make things work when you know they won't, but I, myself am not a quitter, and I wil do my best to make things better for myself. It is very easy to give up, and say the heck with it, but doing that gets a person nowhere.

@whiteream A person that is a quitte, doesn't get anywhere in this world, as they are alwasy kept down, since they don't try their best to keep going. No one should be a quitter.

I always tell myself to never give up hope. I have struggled so much in my life due to my health condition but with the help of co workers, friends and family i still give hope for each day. I do struggle with sickness here and there but i have the strength to never give up.

That is really great. I have been struggling with my finances, and I know that things will get better in time, of that I have no doubt. I just refuse to give up and say that I can't do it, as I know that I can. It takes a lot of faith and also willpower. With God's help, I will survive and do okay.

Good post! Never quitting and never giving up is an old message worth repeating. Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

I'm one of those people who keeps on trying....tell some one in my family that something is impossible. Watch us prove you wrong.

@Morleyhunt I find that it is much better to keep going and see what happens. I know with that mindset, I know I will do just fine.

It is so easy to throw in the towek and say that life isn;t worth living, but I have found that found that life is worth living, even though I have been struggling a lot, but I have always made it through, and I know I will continue to do so.

Oh I dunno - I've given up plenty of things. Smoking, drinking, eating junk food, etc The trick, of course, is to give up those things which are bad for you and not those things which require a little perseverance to fulfill - relationships, careers, life

You are so right. It is great that you gave up smoking and junk food, as that had to be hard to do, but you are better off without them. You are right also, that we should never give up on things that are good for us, as perseverance will eventually pay off., and your life will be better for it.
