Here Is Another Suggestion From My "Thought Starters"

The suggestion is to “write a story in which each sentence will begin with a different letter of the alphabet, beginning with the letter A and moving sequentially, i.e., B, C, D and so forth.” I’m going to give it a try. Almost every day I try to write a few articles to post. Beginning today, my favorite place to post articles is on MyLot. Candidly, I try to describe different animals and places so that the readers can learn something new every day. Doing this little exercise every day, keeps me on my toes, too. Every day I learn something new reading what others write. Frankly, I think that we should each strive to learn new things, to keep our minds alert. Growing older, we sometimes forget things and so learning is a good way to stay sharp. Having something new to read is always enjoyable for me. I love to read about everything, from personal stories to news events. Just a few minutes each day on MyLot and I can learn about so many different things. Keep writing and sharing. Listen to the world around you and share with others what you learn. Maintain a schedule to write something every day. Notice what others write and like and comment on their posts, so that everyone benefits. Open the door to new friendships and be kind in offering your opinions even though they may differ greatly one from the other. Practice good writing habits, using proper grammar and spelling. Quickly, edit what you write before you post it, making sure there are no typos. Reading other’s posts is always fun for me, because people think of some really interesting things about which to write. Since we are on a writing site, try to write things that others will want to read. Take your time and do a good job, so that you can earn some coins each day. Usually, if you write every day, you will earn AND learn every day. Visit the site often and add to the fun. What will you write about today? X-rays or Xylophones? Zebras or Zoos? Now that was FUN and quite a challenge. Next time, I’ll try to actually write a short story about something. Maybe you would like to try it too. All subjects are welcome.
