Wow! I Made My Folgers Coffee Too Strong

Wow! I can't believe I made my Folgers coffee so strong this morning. I guess I lost track of counting the spoonsful that I usually put in. My mind is racing 100 miles an hour already. I can't believe the amount of stuff that I have read already on the Internet this morning. I jump from one topic to another, everything seems to interest me, it's like I am really "awake" this morning. Does it happen to you too?

I always pour the water into the coffee maker the night before and spoon out the coffee grounds into the filter so that all we have to do in the morning is push the start button. It takes out the danger of over or under doing it in the early morning hours.

@Marilynda1225 Its just a part of my cleaning up the kitchen routine. I usually do it after I wipe down the countertops. I've had my fair share of getting up in the mornings and bumping the glass carafe off of the tap while it fills with water and then breaks the glass, so now I find this less damaging.

@juliaacv I always tell myself to prepare mine at night but when night comes I'm too lazy and just head off to bed.

@lucky15 I find that if I go to Starbucks their coffee is too strong and makes my heart race

When the coffee is too strong, it is harder on the heart, that's for sure.

It never happened that I made my coffee too strong. I grind my coffee in the morning, only the quantity I need.

Occasionally I'll make my coffee either too strong or too weak but most of the time I do it right. I'd rather have too strong though than too weak.

I pour the water and coffee into my coffee maker the night before and it is set to make the coffee at 6:30 in the morning so when I wake up my coffee is made and all I have to do is to pour a cup.

Usually I dont have coffee. I have tea daily. I know a property of coffee is that it gives some energy to be awake. I have coffee mainly at my exam times!

No I will water my coffee down if I do that, so I can focus. There is that balance or you`ll burn out before noon :)

I can't even drink coffee unless its decaf. It triggers my anxiety so bad and I also feel l like I'm about to have a heart attack.

I don't drink coffee. But I did put too much sugar in a cup of tea once. Too sweet!

I have never used a coffee-maker till date. I prepare it the old-fashioned way and it tastes just yummy. I have never heard of Folgers though. I'm assuming it is a popular brand there.

I'd recommend you to drink green tea instead of coffee since there is more caffeine than in coffee and it's healthier even though I am coffee drinker too. I like latte, what about you?

Well, as a non-coffee drinker I cannot commiserate on that. My mind races without stimulate which I don't know if good or bad.

Sometimes, it is time to have our mind racing, but not when we need some sleep.
