best of my knowledge and skills about sensors,there are three different types:1)inductive sensors- this sensor sence all kinds of metall.2)capacitive sensor- this sensor sence all kinds of materials iether plastic or metal.3)magnetic sensor- the sensor are used in special purposes liked in industry.
